A Canon for Christmas!

I've been snappin' photos around here like it's my job, trying to figure out all the bells and whistles on the new camera Sam surprised me with! His parents are here instead of us being there, so I'll get some photos up in a few days. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Awesome! Congratulations! I have my eye on the 50 D but I think I'll have to go with the T1-I.

Snap away! It's addicting. I used to have a photography business years ago, out West when I had a killer camera. Unfortunately the camera bit the dust last year and I have been saving for a new one since. I can't wait!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

wow the photos look fab! what a huge difference... now you can truly show all the details in your house with clear and sharp and detailed pictures. Still waiting on pictures of your trim - I researched for four hours on trim (mostly ceiling trim or crown moulding) and in the end, decided to put it off to a later date but I want to at least see your progress ;-)

Thanks, guys! It's been both fun and a little frustrating trying to get this thing working the way I want it to in low light (it's been very GRAY here in Ohio all weekend). But, it's coming along :) Exciting!

Elisa - I plan on posting the trim super soon. Really truly :) We aren't messing with the ceilings and crown, yet, though. Our trim is all around the doors and the baseboards. Sam is doing such an incredible job!
